Terms of Service
Last updated 21 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EstateOps platform, website and related services (the “Service”) provided by EstateOps Technologies Limited (“EstateOps”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an estate or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1. The Service
EstateOps is a facilities-management platform for residential estates, covering maintenance, assets, service partners, finance visibility and related tools. We may add, change or remove features over time.
2. Accounts and roles
- You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Access is role-based (admin, manager, resident, service partner). Each role can only see and do what its permissions allow, and each estate’s data is isolated from other estates.
- You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breaches.
4. Customer data and ownership
- As between you and us, an estate retains ownership of the data it puts into the Service (“Customer Data”).
- You grant EstateOps a limited licence to host and process Customer Data solely to provide and support the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Protection page.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of Customer Data and for having the right to provide it.
5. Fees, subscriptions and payments
- Paid plans and add-ons are billed as shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Paystack; by purchasing, you also agree to Paystack’s terms.
- Subscriptions renew for successive periods unless cancelled before renewal. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated.
- EstateOps does not hold or manage estate funds. The Service records and displays finances for transparency only; dues, levies and payments between residents and their estate are handled by the estate, not by EstateOps.
6. Service partners
Where the Service helps connect estates with service partners, EstateOps is not a party to the work performed and does not employ or guarantee any partner. Engagements, scope, quality and payment are matters between the estate and the partner. Ratings and scores are indicative only.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available and to provide reasonable support, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance and may modify or discontinue features.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, brand and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by EstateOps or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell or create derivative works except as permitted by law.
9. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other’s non-public information disclosed in connection with the Service and use it only as needed to perform under these Terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. EstateOps does not provide legal, financial or engineering advice; outputs such as health scores, risk indices and compliance reminders are decision-support tools, not professional advice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EstateOps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify EstateOps against claims arising from your Customer Data, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, or risk to the Service or others. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and Customer Data is handled as described in our Data Protection page.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
